Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Never has there been a dragon so random and crazed as this. One time when he was counting on his toes several other feet sprang up, only to disappear when the other dragons glanced at his lower torso. Other times he seems to teleport from spot to spot greatly confusing anyone trying to hold a serious conversation with him. He also once grabbed a magi's tail and caused said magi to shoot magic beams at other dragons by twisting the magi's tail. The angry magi responded by cursing him, and turning him into a flamingo. Unfortunately the curse was not permanent.
