Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being third born and so close in time with Eclipse, this makes them practically sisters. Luna is always full of energy and is always taking care of the eggs and hatchlings in the caves. When she is not playing with the other small dragons she can always be found walking with Eclipse around the clans territory talking with her about whatever happens to come up. Being Eclipse's unofficial sister, she is the only dragon in the clan that Eclipse can confide in when she has troubles. Likewise, Luna always has something to say during any situation that she finds herself mixed into, and for some reason everything just works itself out when the other dragons take her words into consideration.
