Azure Glacewing Dragons are one of the largest breeds. They grow to overwhelming sizes; folklore tells of ancient dragons outgrowing even lakes and mountains. They are quite oblivious in nature, and rarely care for—or even notice—the presence of other, smaller creatures. When hungry, an Azure Glacewing might strike suddenly, securing a tasty snack. An adult Glacewing is often more commonly found in the sea than in the sky or on land, due to their enormous weight. However, come mating season, Azure Glacewings return to the forests in which they were born, so that the young have lots of game to feed on.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Quite petite for a Glacewing, though still wholly monstrous, Aisi is much more careful than her breed is known for. She has a maternal nature, caring deeply for smaller dragons. She'll hunt for, house, and take care of those that come to her and that happen to strike at her motherly instincts. She tends to infantilize smaller dragons, especially really small ones. Even if they're older than her, she'll still treat them like hatchlings in need. On the flipped side of that coin, Aisi is a true monster when it comes to protecting her chosen progeny from imminent danger. There is almost no fight she can't win through brute force. Though she isn't a very big Glacewing, she is still incredibly bulky and capable of stampeding anything that tries to hurt her loved ones. Though she's clearly powerful, Aisi never intends to kill her foes. Whenever it does happen, it's always by accident. Aisi is also fairly intelligent, though her overly protective, maternal instincts cloud her judgement.
