Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very aggressive, and has brilliant turquoise markings all over its body.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Death's Lamp is the first dragon in his Cave to be revived.  He has a new respect for life, and if more cautious than before, trying not to take risks he doesn't need to.  He does remember dying. He had not received enough care to survive, and at the end of his seventh day, his heart stopped. The biggest part he remembers is the fear and confusion as his brain went fuzzy from lack of oxygen.
