Speckle-Throated Dragons are an active, playful breed. They are easily excited and rarely remain still, spending much of their time in the air. Living in groups of up to sixty dragons, they nest in open plains and at the bases of mountains. Their speckled throats are their most distinctive feature, as well as the loud, echoing call they produce to communicate with one another. Female Speckle-Throats are slightly smaller than males and lack a head crest. However, they are swifter and more agile and prefer to hunt in small groups in order to take down prey.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wendy is a very active and spirited dragon. She's never stagnant, she's always doing something, whether that be hunting, flying, playing with her father, anything that keeps her body moving. She can't even sleep still! Wendy is an extremely kind dragon, just like her father. She's super friendly with every new face she meets and will always be willing to lend a helping paw. She can often get in over her head, though, sometimes involving herself in the problems of others far more than she should. She's can also be extremely stubborn when it comes to sticking with those problems. She has a sort of complex that won't allow her to quit until she has fulfilled her goal, no matter how laborious or difficult what she's trying to do is. Wendy is a nosey dragon, too, often sticking her head way too far into other dragons' personal business. But, she always means well and wants nothing more than to be helpful and kind to others.
