Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s kind of shaky on its feet and enjoys playing in puddles.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Right before hatching, Broken just barely received the care needed to hatch, causing her growth to be stunted. Even so, she is still a happy-go-lucky hatchling and loves playing with her best friend North Star. She is cared for by the oldest member of Princess' scroll, Fern. She covers her ears every time any of her great grandparents being mentioned due to their, "suggestive codes." Broken does occasionally have small breakdowns about never being able to grow, but her friends are there to cheer her up.
