Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unlike fellow green dragon Cypriss, Damon is not from the forest. He hails from one of the many volcanic regions of the earth, and his resulting sense of commonness makes him very self conscious. He feels as if the others look down on him for not being "special."

Nervous and slightly excitable, Damon seeks the approval of his peers--similar to acquaintance Otava. But unlike Otava, who feels the pressure of being a family head, Damon feels rather useless and only seeks the most fundamental level of acceptance. In short, he has a confidence problem.
