Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Meadowia is almost always below ground, sleeping soundly through the days. She absorbs all of the nutrients she needs through her vines and roots, making it possible for her to stay underground for however long she wishes.

The poor Dark Green dragon is very afraid of others, and will rarely—if ever—come up from her safe place in the ground. She came to the island as a horribly neglected hatchling, and she lashed out at the ones who were trying to help her. It appears as though she never warmed up to the other residents of Dragon Isle, and has no experience when it comes to social interaction.

Nobody is quite sure if she'll ever emerge from her underground home, and all those on Dragon Isle take great care to avoid her vines, as they do not wish to be attacked. There have been instances where hatchlings have been lured in by her pretty flowers and become victims of her naturally violent nature.
