Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Now there are even more vines. Perhaps something is happening?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

I can haz Olive was named for his unsurpassed love for, well, olives.  As an egg, he adored being rubbed in olive oil to make his shell nice and shiny.  Even as a hatchling, all he would eat were olives.  Olives were even his favored choice of weapon: whenever he encountered a dragon bigger than himself (which was only all the time), he'd chuck a clawful of olives at them before burrowing underground.  The other dragons are often highly amused by his escape attempts, and often keep him in the cave.  They'll take the faceful of olives any day.
