Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

On summer nights when the moon dangles high in the sky, MoonReflection and the other Moonstone dragons spread themselves outside as a source of light for the other dragons. These nights are often when the other dragons venture out from the caverns to enjoy the summer night. They can always count on MoonReflection for a spectacular light display. Gliding over the flightless dragons on feathered wings that glow with the gentle light of the moon, MoonReflection showers the other dragons with his home-made moon dust. The dust made from secret ingredients allows one to glow like the moon for an hour. The young hatchlings are often trailing after him and begging for the dust.
