Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Wraith is one of the members of the elite Shadow Tribe.  The other members of the Tribe consider him to be rather creepy because he always appears shadowy and insubstantial.  This appearance has led to mutterings that he possibly came a little closer to death than is wise, leaving him stuck between the two worlds: the Underworld and the normal world.  However, his appearance is really due to a cruel wizard's spell that prevents him from ever having physical contact with others again.  He drastically hopes that someday, another wizard will come along and remove this curse.  Although, in the mean time, being able to float through walls is rather fun.
