Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to sleep during the day and glow when it wakes up at night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Smallest Bluebell, from the time it hatched, was a runt. It was always smaller than the dragons it was raised with, Pulsing Elemental Gems, Falling White Feather, Lost Sapphires in Ocean, and Stars Shining in Dark Night. After it hatched, Smallest Bluebell just... didn't grow into an adult Moonstone Dragon. The other dragons of the tribe believe that the egg was cursed.
