Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hardogos rarely leaves the cave, if at all. Some say it's been years since the old green dragon has seen the light of day. When Aquilocos first came to the cave, barely older than a hatchling, Hardogos was already living there, but the sleepy elder dragon wasn't bothered by the juvenile Skywing's presence. The cave's almost limitless tunnel networks, carved out by Hardogos and her brethren years ago, had been all but empty for some time. She welcomed Aquilocos, then Comozu, then a multitude of young dragons into the cave with open arms. She now takes care of the eggs when the others are out hunting and tells the hatchlings stories of thousands of years ago, when she still dared to leave the confines of her home.
