White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dreydian is a wonderful healer, treating each patient as if that were his child. He has feelings for his master's pink dragon, though she doesn't quite love him yet. He is sad inside, though he still works hard at healing, but with hopes that one day, she will be his mate.

His Clan didn't believe in saving hatchlings by freezing, because they thought it was worse to stay like that forever. He is sad and angry with his self when he loses another hatchling. Dreydian is often challenged by other healing dragons because of his beliefs in magic, and not having a mate. He almost hurt himself when he lost an special purple hatchling who almost made it.

This is a prayer for the many hatchlings who were lost: "May all rest in peace, may your soul rise to the heavens and become young and free again. Like a wise dragon once said, 'Death is only the beginning.' Do not blame me. Oh Filina, have your heart be true and sweet, and do not be mad. I still love you in my heart."
