Being the twenty-fourth eldest, Chirppe is treated as the outsider of the family, mainly because she is a chicken. She acts as the kind nanny to all the dragons, and is considered family. Also, Chirppe spent four years at Penndragon's school for non-dragons, mastering the way of dragon tongue, so she can speak dragon. She has a kind nature, and is an accepted member of the Soshi family, her full name being Chirppe Anya Soshi.
