Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

While certainly not the sharpest talon on the claw, Anamuil is easily the most fun dragon to be around. You'll never catch her discussing philosophy or history with the others, but if you want someone to laugh with and share a carefree day of fun and games, no one is better for company than Anamuil. She never seems to be in a bad mood and loves to explore and make friends wherever she goes, though she does drive Mornaug slightly crazy with her curious nature that causes her to poke at (and often break) nearly everything around her. She enjoys lacing her lovely harmonies into the Sweetling twins' songs, and many of the male dragons fancy her, but unfortunately for them, Anamuil seems to only be attracted to her own breed.
