Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eastern Winds leads the pack when they travel towards the East. He's quite a simple dragon. The thing he loves to do most is to run, and as long as he an run with his pack he is happy. Once, when he was a young dragon he injured his leg seriously. It made it impossible for him to run or even walk naturally for months. During this time Eastern Winds was so miserable that he wanted to die. Even though it healed and hasn't bothered him since, he is more careful than the other Whiptails because he is terrified of getting hurt again and not be able to run.
