On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rakylia is a warm, happy dragon. She came to Dragon Isle when she was still inside her egg. Fanaos found her when scavenging for prey, and he took her back to the island to be nurtured by Kelasia.

Rakylia is a very outgoing and social dragon, and she is keen on befriending all of the dragons on the island. Her mate is Noctis Ignis, the shy Falconiform Wyvern. They are literally polar opposites, and a lot of rumors have been spread about them. However, Rakylia pays no mind to such talk, and instead focuses on loving her mate.

She has taken the role of the event planner of the isle, often planning ceremonies and  holidays.

Her bright red fins do attract a lot of attention, which is never problematic for the Red-finned Tidal. She enjoys socializing and meeting new friends. She also loves to hunt fish, and does so very well. Rakylia is widely liked by many of Dragon Isle's residents, and she plans on staying on the island for the rest of her days.
