Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Watch out for this Magma dragon. Covered in viscous lava that clings even when she leaves her secluded home crater, this girl boasts an icy exterior, despite her body having a lesser amount of black igneous plates than normal Magmas, which means more heat for her size. Mauna Loa traces her lineage back to the original Dorkfaces, but as a bit of a rebel (and a hypocrite), she despises her full title, unless she needs it to achieve a goal. Of course, it's not very effective, as her lineage just barely extends to cover the Midas and Shallynar dorkfaces. Mauna can be described as annoyingly judgmental and stubborn to boot, but she likes the life she lives. There is little anyone can do about it.
