Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A terrible disaster occurred in the land. Two habitats were sacked, eighty thousand of the lagmonster and its allies perished, and the island was lost.  Moreover, all this ruin was brought upon the lagmonster by a mare, a fact which in itself caused it the greatest shame. The horse dragon who was chiefly instrumental in rousing the dragons and persuading them to fight the monster, the one who was thought worthy to be the cave's leader and who directed the conduct of the cave war was Boudicca, a mare of the royal family. She possesses greater strength than often belongs to other mares of the cave.

In stature she was very large; in appearance most terrifying; in the glance of her eye most fierce and her voice was harsh. A great mass of the bluest mane fell to her withers; upon her head rose two horns of the whitest ivory; and she bore her wings outstretched with immeasurable pride. This was her invariable presence.
