When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Hydrazureus was adopted by a wonderful human who named him after the stunning blue color of his scales. As a hatchling, he had confidence issues because contrary to popular belief about Water dragons, Azureus was not the amazing swimmer others expected him to be. He despised the water and wished everyday that he could live on land or fly in the sky like the other dragons he saw in the area. Much time has passed since those days, and Azureus' Human has taught him to love and appreciate himself and his environment. Unlike his other Water dragon friends, he had to practice swimming every single day but practice really did make perfect. He absolutely loves his home in the water now, and he loves swimming! Not only does he love it, he is one of the best swimmers in his community. He participates in local swimming competitions and places at least top four in all of them.
