Canopy Dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

"Fall of Autumn" is named for the colors on his wings that quite represent the color of fallen leaves in Autumn. He likes another canopy dragon in his herd named Canopaya, but she prefers to hang with the wild bright-breasted wyverns of the jungles and forests. His thin, agile body allows him to perform nice tricks and slink around expertly, and instead of flying he often makes his way through the jungle canopies by weaving lithely through the intertwining branches. He doesn't quite have much of a personality to refer to--if one says "hello" to him as he scurries by along a tree's branch, he will stop, look at them for a few seconds, squawk, and continue on his way. He obeys simple commands from anyone, such as "come here", or "stop", or "sit", but if the person shows any potential threat and try to command him or tell him to do something bad, he will, at first, pretend to be doing it before turning on the person.  However, this does not make him "tame", as he has a great sense of freedom.
