Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Storm is a Winter Magi under the command of Glimmer. He, along with his brother Blizzard, are responsible for the first snowfall in the cave. While everyone's sleeping, they fly silently over the heads of their scoll-mates and create a gentle flurry of snow, which gradually increases as morning arrives.

Storm is a paranoid dragon, always afraid that someone is watching him. He constantly checks over his shoulders, even in the cave, to see if any wandering eye has spotted him. He's also afraid that everyone's out to get him, as his suspicions are slowly growing true. At least, to him they are. Dragons are often annoyed by his extreme paranoia, and don't feel comfortable around him, as he is prone to have panic attacks. They act aggressive around him, which scares the snow out of Storm.

The only dragon who Storm is not very afraid of is his brother, Blizzard. The cocky and impulsive Winter Magi makes Storm feel safe from any eyes, as all eyes are on Blizzard as he shows off.
