Shimmer-scale Dragons are a very beautiful breed with small—but highly reflective—scales that shimmer and shine as the dragon moves through water. They don’t have fins or webbed feet, but their long, eel-like bodies allow them to swim quite fast. They were once rumored to carry large pearls in their claws—causing many to seek them out in search of this fabulous treasure. In reality, the “pearl” is of greater value to the dragon, for the fabled treasure is actually an egg carried by a migrating female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Seveilia is a happy, upbeat Shimmer-scale dragon. She likes to be around other dragons and loves to impress them as well. She is friends with lots of different dragons and helps solve conflicts within the cave. When in a conversation with many different individuals, she seems to be able to understand all of them, and reply back accordingly. It is very difficult to do two things to Seveilia, to persuade her or to tick her off. She is known for her even temper, and she doesn't take anything very seriously. She is also notoriously stubborn, and will almost never sway from her belief of what is right. When she is alone, which isn't very often, she enjoys collecting shells and other shiny objects from the sea shore near the cave. She can swim very fast, and will swim down to the sea floor and back up again at a very high speed. This is so she can leap at least three feet out of the water. Any dragons that can swim like to join her and jumping competitions usually follow.
