Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lyude is a very sweet and endearing Magi hatchling. He gets along well with almost all the dragons in the cave, except for Skeed and Vallye who seem to have it in for him. Despite this, Lyude remains polite and friendly to them and hopes that they will get over their differences, which ultimately just frustrates them. On the other hand, Lyude is especially fond of his mother, Shirayuki, and he can usually be found following her around cheerfully. For a hatchling, Lyude has a rather large vocabulary, born from an interest in learning. Lyude prefers the quieter side of life, but he does enjoy listening to music. He does have a mild taste for adventure, though, and hopes to one day travel the world.
