Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sakadashi and Touritsu are twins in all but blood; they're always together, and they seem to share a special bond. Their eggs hatched at the same time, and the first thing in the world that they saw was each other.

Dash is often full of energy and sees no way to spend it other than causing trouble, although that normally means a lecture from the older dragons later on! Dash doesn't like lectures though, and he'll often find some way to sneak away before the elders are done. Dash considers himself to be male, and says that if he does get wings and turns out to be female, he'll still think of himself as a male.
