Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kazam has learned to focus all his magic through one simple word. Instead of complicated spells and long incantations he focuses all his energy through two simple syllables—his name. At first it started as nothing more than a simple exercise, a proof that the syllables of the spells weren't power in and off themselves. Later he learned how much of an advantage he had in magical duels when the opponent didn't know which spell to expect from him. Nowadays he doesn't even remember the "proper" spells anymore and he loves the way young dragons look at him when they see how much power even his NAME has.
