Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon knows of the existence of one-headed dragons (of course she does; she's one of them). She's also stumbled across the occasional two-headed dragon. But asking her to believe in an EIGHT-headed dragon was just asking too much! Accordingly, no sooner had Kushinada heard rumors of such a beast appearing in the south than she went to investigate the matter more thoroughly for herself. What Kushinada found was a land largely devoid of dragons, a group of highly terrified and highly superstitious locals, and a dumb holly dragon who'd landed himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. To make a long story short, Kushinada found herself offered up by the humans as a sacrifice to the "evil serpent," an act she rolled her eyes at but went along with willingly. She soon found herself falling for the goofy creature and the two are now a happy mated pair indeed, their love bringing "peace" back to the terrorized land.
