Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Norivan was one of the Goldenmage Assembly's early recruits, and one of the first to successfully complete training.  Being non-aggressive by nature, Norivan quickly grew tired of constantly having to prove himself against new trainees, and finally won the freedom to leave by announcing his intention to seek out Magehaven Island.  To everyone's surprise (including his own), Norivan found the former magi community, which was now largely deserted but still had all of its records intact.

Norivan is quiet, even-tempered, and very practical—hating to see so much good living space go to waste, he has gladly allowed Kalazor to turn the island into a refuge for dragons in need of a safe place to live.  Norivan is too shy to participate much in the community's daily life, preferring instead to spend most of his time doing research to send back to the Goldenmage Assembly, but can sometimes be found listening to one of Thelsala's stories or showing one of the hatchlings a new spell.
