Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Tria (meaning Three in Latin) is Moonburst's third Deep Sea Dragon. She is the first born child and daughter of Primoris and Duas.
While Tria is very shy and conservative, shes had a bit of a rebellious streak.
One day she went against her fathers word and surfaced to a world of endless sky, where she met Piano Powell, a Skywing dragon. They became smitten with each other and decided to mate, which in turn later ended up producing an egg, much to her parents displeasure. Angered at their daughters poor decision, Primoris attacked and gravely injured Powell, Duas went to kill their egg, but instead decided to let the egg live and give Tria the opportunity to give it away. Tria later found Powell on the oceans surface, injured, but not dead and gave him their egg to take it to the Dragon Cave. Before his take off they both said one last lovingly sad goodbye and Tria inwardly promised herself she would never again take another mate.
