Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Glerry Dorkface Thuwed bears the weight of his ancestry well enough, but cannot imagine finding a suitable mate and then putting an even heavier ancestral burden on offspring. He is happy as a playful hatchling and plans to stay that way as long as possible.

Glerry particularly likes to find out someone's wishes and make them come true. He often hides in a wishing well to learn what would make a wisher happy, gets pelted with a coin, then does his best to make the wish come true. Occasionally, if a wish is for harm to be done, he will flip the coin back out at the wisher and chastise them for wishing such a thing.
