Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Abigail Dorkface has not always been known as a Dorkface. In fact, neither of her parents were aware that she had any Dorkface blood in her, as no one in their families have had the name for generations. Indeed, if Abigail were not so curious about history, she would never have learned of her heritage. Shortly after she reached adulthood, Abigail became curious about her own personal history. She decided to make a visit to Amethyst Destiny, who is well known the region for being a repository of knowledge, and also for owning a vast collection of scrolls. Among these scrolls were the family records of many dragon families. Amethyst Destiny was happy to help Abigail to discover her past, and found a scroll with one of her grandparent's name on it after some searching. Both were shocked to discover that Abigail is actually descended from the famous Midas Dorkface! Ever since then, Abigail has worn her heritage with pride, and officially had "Dorkface" added to her name.
