Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stonehenge Twilight Protector is a special dragon who was chosen especially for protecting the young ones of the tribe. She sits in front of the cave, and watches and protects her large dragon family. She not only protects, but acts as a teacher and surrogate mother for the hatchlings and eggs. All dragons of the cave respect her for her hard work and devotion. Even though her parents abide in the same cave, they respect her as an equal. Her companion in protecting the cave, Abu Rawash's Twilight Protector even respects her despite her pride. She is named after a wonder of the world, as she is truly one of a kind.
