Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

OH MAPLE, also known as Maple, enjoys playing tricks alongside her sister, Hello My Name Is Awesome, but that's where the similarities end. Unlike boisterous Awesome, who takes after their mother, Maple is Daddy's little girl. She prefers to stay out of the limelight and avoid other dragons in general. As such, she does most of the grunt work and backstage plotting when the two sisters play their tricks on other dragons in the region. For a while, Maple was content with letting Awesome take all the credit, but it has gotten to the point where her work has been completely ignored. Though she still does not want too much attention, she desires to be recognized by others as a legitimate trickster. Her father acknowledges her existence, but for the most part, the rest of her family is too caught up with basking in their own awesomeness to notice.
