Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kindled Rage is one of the oldest dragons in the cave, and was the first dragon to be truly feared. Her fiery temper is enough to make the Hellfire Wyverns cringe, and even the Guardians of Nature refuse to deal with her. The only dragon brave, or stupid, enough to confront her is her mate, Kindled Hatred. The two share fierce dispositions, though Rage's is much more frightening.

Together they have produced many offspring, each as savage as the next. Rage often lets them do as they please, though she will call them to her when their "playing" goes to far. However, lately Rage has been feeling her control of her children to be slipping away, and the only times they will listen is if she forces them into submission.

Rage proves to be a valuable ally in fighting. She bears many scars, chipped teeth, and torn wing membranes from fights. She wears these scars with pride, as a vicious reminder of what she is capable of.
