Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dull Night is just like other Nocturne dragons, being idle in the day, active during the night. However, if it is terribly urgent, she will use her natural dragon telepathy to contact others for help. She tries her best to avoid being struck by light during the day, though. She is curious about the world and likes to explore every nook and cranny. She will keep asking questions about EVERYTHING she wonders about. She wants to know as much as she can before it is time for her to return to her idle state. She tries to be helpful. She is very peaceful and dislikes fighting. She doesn't like meat as she can't bear the thought of killing an animal, a living being just like herself. She prefers eating fruits and even that makes her cringe because she knows that plants are living things too. She likes flying at night, her dark blue colours blending in with the dark sky. She mainly flies because she likes to feel the thrill of flying and to get closer to the moon that she thinks is beautiful.
