Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ebon is Riddle Hold's most decorated young warrior. Newly matured, the young dragon  already wears the pockmarks and scars of war. First into battle, Ebon is tireless with the energy of youth, and merciless with the soul of a true warrior.<br/>However, it's unfortunate that none of the older dragons will let him forget his awkward hatchling moments. Future war general he may be, but to his former teachers he is still the young thing who flew headlong into a wall because he hadn't mastered stopping yet. It's mostly affectionate disrespect, but it does hurt Ebon's sensitive young soul.  His nickname amongst his troops is 'The black death', but amongst the elders it will always be 'Permission to land'
