Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"I may be small, but I'm ten times faster than a jackrabbit!" is something Maplespeed

would say if he could talk. He is by far, one of the smallest whiplashes out there,

but that doesn't stop him from having great speed. Though a bit arrogant, Maple can

run faster than most dragons and has won every race he has been in. He would be more

likable if he didn't enjoy annoying dragons and humans alike, by whipping them with

his long tail then running out of reach and doing it again. Maple also enjoys many

peaches, so to calm him down, his "mother" feeds him peaches every day for every meal.

Maplespeed is the second oldest in the pack, but at times, acts like one of the

youngest.
