Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gluxxa Goxxa is a dragon struggling with a sickness of the mind. Some days, everything appears to be hopeless. Dragging herself out of her nest is a mountain to climb, food is almost tasteless, and the sunset that, on other days, she finds a glory to behold, is a dull, disheartening reminder of her distant but existing mortality. She made up a funny name to apply a sort of mild self-therapy. Whenever she feels blue, Gluxxa chirps her name out loud and it brings a smile to her face and a warm chuckle comes from her mouth. Laughter makes her mountains seem smaller, her food more flavorful, and her sunsets a bit brighter. Life still isn't easy. It never will be, but as long as she keeps her name and her sense of humor, she knows that she can make it.
