Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vutha'sthyr is not the brightest dragon you will find, but he is surprisingly gentle. He is very strong and protective of his friends and always watches over his mate and offspring long after they have passed onto human hands. He often play fights and spars with other dragons of his breed to keep in top form for the times when he is required to defend the caves he watches over and fight away intruders of his domain. Vutha'sthyr quite enjoys attention and playing and often will irritate the more surly dragons and people in the area by showing off and hassling them until they crack a smile and rub his scales.
