White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ever since she was but a wingless hatchling, Astarte has been following other Whites to discover more about the art of healing. It was no surprise that she, the moment she became of age and could be initiated into the healing order, did so. Now, as one of the eldest Dragons in the Cave, she is respected, even adored by all because of her wisdom and skill. This reverence does not affect her in the slightest, and Astarte helps and advises everyone who asks for it.
