Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s rather plain looking, though.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Heibon'na josei is a plain little dragon. She does not do anything special. She sleeps, eats and sometimes plays, but that is the extent of her life. She has never ventured outside of her comfort zone and probably never will unless forced.

Her name means plain jane because she has not grown her distinctive features yet.
