Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A proud, strutting creature, Fierce Lavender can often be found preening himself by the edge of a lake near Deep's lair. Since the only males old enough (and large enough) to challenge him are Dukeshield and his son (neither of which are inclined to do so), he considers the female dragons living in Deep's Lair to be his future mates- every single one of them. Of course, none of them take very kindly to that assumption, especially Gentle, who is quick to swat at him with a fin whenever the opportunity arises. Desert loves picking on him, and if Deep happens to be awoken by a roar of complete rage in the morning, she knows it's because Desert covered Fierce with mud, or painted a mustache on his face in blue dye, or something else uniquely Desert.
