Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Although several dragons have told her that it always looked that way, and her mate explained that the colour was only due to the rich copper deposits in the ground AND all Whites have promised her that it was completely harmless to any dragon, Stranger simply doesn't trust that cheerfully bright blue-green of that lake and keeps clear of it.
