Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Princess Heir was hatched after a very long spell of no eggs for the reigning Sky-Monarchs. His Majesty King Skylar was the guilty party, being unable to give his mate an egg. This is known because Skydancer Breeze was able to participate in an experiment that produced several blunas. Her elder brother Winderina was pleased to tend her egg because the arrival of a second child for the monarchs meant that he did not have to ascend the throne in time.

As for the Heir herself, she spends a lot of time with the hybrid sky-water dragons known as blunas, and while she enjoys spending time with her own SkyGuard, she does not want to follow in her mother's wingstrokes and lead them.
