Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Domi is the only son of Vahlor, captain of the guard.  Unlike his father, Domi has no interest in becoming a warrior.  Still only a baby, he spends a lot of his time napping and loves to snuggle with Lonesong, his unofficial nanny.  When he isn't busy cuddling he likes to use his fire to burn patterns into the ground.  One day he hopes to grow up to be a great artist.  Unfortunately his father does not approve of this idea.  He insists that Domi start military training as soon as his wings have grown in.  For the time being, however, Domi is still very young and is allowed to play with "childish ideas" in his head.
