Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being a mysterious and somewhat shady creature, this dragon is frequently looked down upon by others. He spends most of his afternoons staring at his reflection in a puddle of water. His parents have taken note of a hypnotized look in his eyes as he ogles his liquid simulacrum. He tends to wander around, mumbling something unintelligible as he goes. He has even ripped out some of his own spikes and scales, and he claims they taste like onions. The cause of this concerning behavior is unknown, but some dragons trace it back to the fact that he was often physically ill as both an egg and a hatchling. Many Black Dragons of his clan wish to kill him out of fear but are too cowardly to take a stand. They claim he is some sort of demon that has come to "spirit them away".
