Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ghenniro is a quiet and shy dragon, and the owner of a pretty harsh inferiority complex. He, like his fellow albino nest mates, hatched normally and enjoyed life when he was little. However, puberty hit him hard. When he grew wings, his oil glands also acted up. Ghenniro had zits and pimples all over his body, they were incredibly disgusting to look at, and incredibly painful to have. Constantly teased by his peers, Ghenniro sought a way to get rid of the skin condition. After hearing an old wives' tale about the healing properties of dragon's bane, he found a patch and rolled in it. Not a smart move on his part, but luckily there was a river nearby to wash it off quickly and a kindly white dragon close by to heal his wounds. After his skin healed, Ghenniro found that the oil on his body no longer worked properly, instead of shielding him from the sun, it magnified it's rays and burned him. Skin aching and leathery, Ghenniro forever retreated to a tunnel system carved deep underground.
