Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ever since he was a child, Tealicos was enamored with butterflies--but not in the usual way of his breed. Fascinated by their bright colors and trembling flight, his desire to admire them was matched only by his desire to eat them, leaving the poor dragon quite conflicted. Now an adult, Tealicos has at long last found a solution to his troubles; serving as a butterfly breeder, he now propagates rare and beautiful breeds within a specially designed enclosure of his own creation. This allows him to observe his beloved insects to his heart's content, eating them only once their brief lifespans have already come to an end.
