Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fiodoir Talun lives in the cave at the back of her family's nesting site. The actual nest where she sleeps has beautiful stones and gems lining the outside of it; they are trophies she has gathered or her family has brought to her. Though she is considered an earth dragon, she rarely uses her magic against humans. Fiodoir Talun thinks that humans are frail, hatchling-like beings that need to be nurtured carefully. She loves to tell stories to anyone who will listen to her and has a knack for weaving wild adventure tales. She speaks fondly of every human she's ever met and has no quarrel against any of her family.
